FarmVille Strategy - How To Be A Better Farmer

If you are reading this, you already know about FarmVille and how much fun it can be... and you want to get better at it. The way to do that is by using FarmVille strategy to work your way higher and higher.

Learning how to get better at FarmVille, comes down to knowing what it is that you want or need to achieve. To get the best FarmVille experience, whether that is more cash, an amazing farm, or moving up the levels faster, you have to focus on the right things at the right time.

As you work your way through FarmVille, you will see it has many exciting features and things you can purchase for your farm. But wasting your coins on unnecessary features to early in the game can harm your progress in a big way.

While you are in the lower levels, it is a significant FarmVille strategy to stick to actions that are based on increasing your level, rather than building your cash. As your level gets higher, you have a greater choice of crops available, and you can increase the size of your farm. Growing crops for cash is something you can do when you get to Level 20 - this is when you are able to purchase tomato seeds. Any cash that you get from your crops can be used for buying more XP. Resist buying equipment as this isn't absolutely necessary at the lower levels of FarmVille. As an example, tractors are quite costly and not necessary unless you have increased the size of your farm and have large crop fields.

Having more neighbors is a benefit, particularly in the lower levels. A good way to learn FarmVille tricks is to use the knowledge of your friends and what they have learned from playing FarmVille. Invite all of your friends on Facebook to join you in FarmVille. With every successful invite, you gain a ribbon. The ribbons you earn can be sold for cash, then for XP.

Also, neighbors are able to help you on your farm if you need them to. And you can help your neighbors on their farms... and this will earn you ribbons. Even smaller ribbons can add up to a sizeable collection eventually and then you can use them to buy unique items when you reach later stages in the FarmVille game.

Make a note of what seeds will bring you a good cash profit, and which ones will gain you extra XP. In this virtual world of farming, it is usually one or the other. Crops don't often earn good money and XP together. Take into account how many times a day (or per week) that you will log in to FarmVille and how long it will take for your crops to fully grow. You should try to match your crops to when you will be logged in. If you have limited availability to log in, ensure you don't buy crops that will be ready too soon or they will whither and die while they wait for you to return. Withered crops are a waste of your time and money.

FarmVille tempts you with an enormous amount of fluff. Eye-candy, pretty farms, must-have theme items. Resist spending your FarmVille cash or coins on unnecessary decorations that you really don't need. Only do this if the doing so will earn a ribbon for you. Then straight away sell the fancy buildings and decorations once you have the ribbon, then use the land for more crops.

While we are on land space, make sure you use every inch of land on your farm. If you end up with odd bits of land that you cannot use for crops, plant some trees, or buy some animals. Basically, the best FarmVille guide for beginners is to ensure that ALL of your farm is producing income. Keep on expanding the size of your farm, whenever you can. Remember that more available land means you have more possible income.
